Official NCPL proposal site for 2009 seaso. (Read 1115 times)

Proposals:

1. Change the rules cycle to run only once every two years instead of annually. So, any rules changes this winter, will cover both 2009 and 2010 racing.

If #1 passes, this would be my 2nd proposal.

2. Allow the NCPL board to make changes to the rules within that 2 year cycle if there is immediate need due to technology changes or safety with a majority vote.

Reason for change: We have a good foundation of new and older racers, these annual meetings with constant rule changes and heated debates (email included) over the rules does nothing but push existing and prospective new racers away. Lets live with what we have and move forward without all the bickering.

Proposal
!. Elimate the NCPL OS 46 class. Fly only AMA 428

We might attract "Out of town flyers"
We could have 6 or 7 events instead of the 11 we had last year This would free up the field For other events
The class does not draw new flyers We haven't had a new flyer in over 3 years
My engines are all worn out
We wouldn't have to have these rule meetings and get all upset since we would be using AMA rules

The site for proposal's is now closed,it look's like we are getting down to the nit picking stage that tell's me that we are just about done with the rule's game, now all we have to do is have are winter meeting, with some or the people getting back on there feet maybe it would be best to wait until some time in Feb. to hold the annual meeting,i will let you know the date for bthe meeting....

We only have four proposal's to vote on that is the least number of proposal's that i have seen since i have been a member of the NCPL...
